SUMMER VACATION NATURE DAYS REGISTRATION: Theme—Going & Growing Green – Mon. June 2, 9 am
Members and Ansonia residents started registering for our summer day camp in May, but if you’re neither, now you can too! This summer’s theme is our food and our environment. Our popular school vacation classes will begin the last week of July for 11- to 14-year-olds only, and continue for 4- to 10-year-olds for the next three weeks in August. Tuition is $30 for 4- and 5-year-olds, and $60 for 6- to 14-year-olds. (For FANCI members and residents, it’s half price.) Register now for these science-based, fun-filled days. Classes fill up quickly!

Who lives in the pond? You’ll find out, as we discover the critters with two legs, four legs, and six legs! Our classes are designed for children 3 to 5 years old with an adult caregiver. Tuition is $6 for FANCI members and Ansonia residents, and $8 for all others. Please register in advance. Class size is limited.

CT TRAILS DAY – Sat. June 7, 9 am to noon

Bring water, bug spray—and a sack lunch to enjoy in the park after the hike. FREE.

Plan to help us clean up the litter along a secluded section of the Naugatuck River in Ansonia. We’re likely to see wildlife along the way as well as litter!
